PUNE - Bajaj Auto soon launchs his(its newest product, Bajaj Exceed, coming September. Excellence of this product, Exceed applies new machine having consumption efficiency of fuel 109 km/liter.
" Bajaj Exceed will be launched coming September. Exceed will be marketed with price range 40000 rupees or thinks USD982. But, its(the fixed price we has just determined later," says Rajeev Bajaj, Managing Director Bajaj Auto as cited [by] Indiatimes, Sabtu ( 11/8/2007).
Bajaj adds, new machine applied by Exceed is named [by] Digital Twin Spark-Swirl production ( DTS-SI). The machine commonly use by motor is having capacities 100 cc. But, Bajaj does up grade to be used at machine 125 cc.
" Although having machine 125 cc, its(the fuel efficiency is equivalent mechanically 100 cc," says Bajaj. Now, machine DTS-SI applies conventional system of 4 do not.
General Manager Marketing Bajaj Amit Nandi tells that product Bajaj masters 47 % market for motorbike class 125 and 150 cc in India. While, product is having capacities 100 cc only master 24 % market.
The Side Of Bajaj targets Exceed can grab 15 % India market. Bajaj x'self concentration of making motor is having capacities 125 cc.
" We don't get many advantages to sell machine 100 cc. Platinum Product is sold with the price of 33 thousand rupees and we don't get something from its(the sale. Sale of Exceed is expected to delivers advantage of 4 thousand rupees per its(the vehicle," assertive of Bajaj.
Exceed x'self will be produced 20 thousand units in September. In the next 50 thousand units ready to be marketed. During quarterly II 2007, sale of product 100 cc in India declines 21 %. While 125 and 150 cc rising 16 % compared to the same period last year.
